site analysis:
This is a study the existing conditions of the garden. We meet with the client on site and discuss the general intent of the design. At this time we go over the key elements and features of the existing garden. Problem areas, special needs, and other specific details are noted at this time.
We then measure the area and note all existing conditions of the garden.
concept plan:
This is the preliminary plan and is more or less a working plan. It shows all existing and proposed elements of the garden. It includes notes on traffic flow, functionality, and general types of plants. Once the conceptual drawing has been approved, we are ready for a planting plan. planting plan:
The planting plan is a computer drawing, to scale of the property and has all the plants and structures clearly labeled. We use the botanical name for all trees, shrubs, grasses, vines and most perennials. Vue an online sample / download the .pdf file here (270kb).
planting sketch:
A visual aid for the client to assist in attaining a clearer understanding of a concept or detail of the plan. This is a rough sketch and not to scale.
concept brief:
